CUS VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

Oversee the marketing and branding of the entire BCom student society of 3,000+ students, including:

 

  • 17 clubs

  • 5 conferences

  • 8 services within the Marketing portfolio

  • Any other services external of the Marketing portfolio (Awards Night, Elections, etc.)

Accomplishments:

 

  • Sending out the CUSunday on time every week (major accomplishment!)
     

  • Initiated the first ever CUS booth during Business Week to promote CUS involvement
     

  • Proactively ordered 3,000 CUS branded pens free to students to increase brand awareness
     

  • Ordered large CUS banners to increase CUS presence at all CUS-funded conferences and programs
     

  • Designed (with the help of her AVPM!) the student agendas when the Yearbook and Prospectus role was vacant
     

  • Took student feedback into consideration and Included the first ever agenda bookmarks free for the student prospectus
     

  • Helped CUS Elections, CUS Sustainability Conference, and Awards Night with marketing their services and working on their marketing timelines
     

  • Distributed a CUS Marketing guide to all CUS Services to ensure policies are being followed, in addition to hosting a marketing workshop to help all services succeed
     

  • Guided The Cavalier in a major layout revamp and redesign
     

  • Worked with the UGO Marketing department in updating and recreating the Sauder School of Business' new website
     

  • Aided AmbaSauder's high school presentations to become more CUS and student life focused
     

  • Help ensure CUS Corporate Relations marketing contracts with CPA are met and fulfilled
